Did jimfoxx1013 pay attention - King Kong Reviews

I dont usually point out another member when writing a movie review, but after reading his I have to wonder if he just paid attention to the pretty graphics and forgot what the story was. He says the girl thought it was ok for Kong to murder hundreds of people to kidnap her. Now if he means on Skull island (Kong's home), he has every right to protect it and her (which is what he was doing). And if he means all the killing in NYC, lets not forget Kong was taken from his home against his will and brought to an unfamiliar place to be paraded like a sideshow. Ann seeked him out remember to try and protect him. Now after that rant, I think the movie was very well done for the most part although the first 45 minutes could have been substantially shortened. I think we can have covered character backgrounds in a shorter period of time. But we have to remember this is Peter Jackson we are talking about. When many movies these days barely cover 90 minutes and leave you feeling unsatisfied and out 8 bucks, Peter does give you a great movie experience. ANd I too cannot wait for the DVD which I am sure will be an extended version of the film with probably another 45 minutes. Overall great movie!
